bringing up the Tuskegee experiment in retort to Carlson challenging him on spreading “what could not be true” seems logical to me. He’s giving an example of something similar to what he believes happened. While i would guess the government did not bust the damns, I wouldn’t say it could not have happened.

Also, I agree that we need more black leaders, however your list of a few “upstanding members of the black community” I would consider to just be leaders who happen to be black. Its semantics I know, but I think there are plenty of leaders who happen to be black, but there aren’t enough black leaders, who are leading the black community.
