Need some major feedback on this one….
Ok readers, here’s the deal. My girlfriend and I have decided to get married. We have talked about quite a bit over the last few months, and we went and picked out her engagement ring. We were at one of the parks in Omaha, and I did a mock proposal with a ring she was already wearing since I didn’t have the ring yet. I wanted to do something special when I actually got the ring, so I was going to wait until Christmas and surprise her by being really romantic and having her open it in front of my family. Well, she’s gone and ruined everything, so I was just going to have her open it because that’s what she wanted to do.
If you were or are a woman, wouldn’t you want it to be so romantic and a surprise? I would! So, because she ruined my surprise, I was going to think of another way to surprise her. I got an empty ring box and wrapped it up and was going to give that one to her on Christmas, then give her the real one in some special way like on her plate at dinner or have one of the cats deliver it. I just wanted it to be memorable. Not just me handing her a ring and proposing. But she doesn’t get it! She says “Maybe I don’t want to get it in front of your family, maybe I just wanted it to be between you and I and then we’d show people.” Is that something that’s going to be fun to talk about when we see people? “Yeah, she was lying in bed, so I just sat next to her and had her open it.” Whoopie doo!
